English Lecturer
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a part time English Lecturer to work at a College in Hull, starting ASAP and lasting until at least December 2024. This is a temporary position, that may be extended in the future. Payment for this position will be in line with the main teaching pay scale (up to M6), meaning a daily rate payment of between £162.31 and £223.62 per day (subject to pro rata). This is only a Monday morning 9AM - 12PM, and Tuesday afternoon 1PM - 4PM so suits a really flexible practitioner.
This role will involve teaching English to GCSE resit students, so experience teaching English to GCSE is important at this stage.
Located in Hull, the school is easy to access by car and public transport from most areas of the city. There is an onsite car park that is free to use, and spaces are always available. There is an extremely experienced and effective head of department that ensures that a throughout handover and induction is provided to temporary staff members, leaving you feeling welcome and supported from the first day in the role.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:
Have experience working within schools in the UK.
Has experience supporting within UK schools
Has experience teaching English to Key Stage 4
Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
