The role includes having line management accountability for care/support staff, Conducting their annual appraisals and providing them with supervision will be a key aspect of this post.
-Contribute to planning duty rotas and ensuring through a variety of methods that people who use the service receive a high quality of care
- Lead and manage teams
- Provide personal care
- Monitor health and safety in the Home
- Administer and manage medications of residents
- Responds to emergencies and provides guidance and support to care workers
- To attend all management training as required and participate in the staff development programmes, such as NVQ level 4/5 in Social care
-Assist the Manager to establish and maintain operational systems and the production and provision of managerial information
- Communicate with internal and external agencies, management and peers in a manner appropriate to your position at all times
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Have good communication skills
- Have the ability to work effectively within a team environment
-Liaise with the Manager in dealing with any queries
-Conduct quality assurances exercises and develop service improvement plans
- To monitor security and safety in the Home and its grounds
- Have Food and Hygiene training and undertake meal preparation and light cleaning and domestic duties as required
-Good knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and medical emergencies
- Work 48 Hours per week (£38,688 per annum)/£15.50 per hour
