JOR Property Ltd, a leading property maintenance company based in Aberdeen, is searching for a skilled individual to take on the combined roles of Purchase Ledger Administrator and Payroll Clerk. This full-time position offers a dynamic work environment where you will be instrumental in managing our purchase ledger and payroll systems.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the purchase ledger and payroll administration functions. This includes processing supplier invoices, processing payroll timesheets and deductions for our team. The role requires someone who can maintain high levels of accuracy under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and communicate effectively with both suppliers and staff.
Responsibilities:
* Process supplier invoices and credits efficiently via Hubdoc/Xero, posting to ServiceM8 jobs where applicable. Training will be provided on these systems.
* Check and process timesheets for field and office employees.
* Manage and respond to all supplier and staff queries in a timely manner.
* Maintain the accounts email and ensure effective communication within the team.
* Assist with the telephone switchboard, directing calls to the appropriate departments or individuals, and taking messages when necessary.
* Prioritize tasks and workloads to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years experience in purchase ledger.
* We run Hubdoc, Xero and ServiceM8 systems; experience with any of these will be advantageous, however training can be given.
* Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* A flexible, positive attitude and the initiative to establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, staff, and co-workers.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in financial administration, with a strong understanding of purchase ledger.
* Great attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
