As an Electrical Technician you will build and place components including wiring harnesses in electrical boxes. • Wire prototype and production12 & 24 volt DC control boxes in house, test completed boxes, provide adjustments / solutions as needed. • Participate in onsite installation, testing, and training at customer locations • Review drawings, plans and other customer documents in order to prepare detailed technical proposals involving products and services offered. • Provide technical services to customers relating the use, operation and maintenance of products represented. • Develop business relationships with engineers and other professional and technical personnel at commercial, industrial and other establishments to create solutions that incorporate our products and systems. • Maintain professional relationships contact with internal and external contacts. Requirements: • Associate’s degree or 2 yrs proven experience working with low voltage DC circuits and wiring • Working knowledge of: - low voltage DC circuits - wiring diagrams - diagnosing & repairing electrical circuits • Written and verbal communication skills, including English grammar • Ability to build low voltage control boxes • Ability to perform electrical tests, read results, and diagnose/repair electrical problems • PLC / Programming experience a plus • Fluid power experience a plus Desired characteristics: • Work independently and as part of a team • Listening, negotiating, and effective questioning skills • Ability and desire to quickly learn new processes and systems • Organization skills, detailed oriented • PC proficiency with Word, Excel and other Office applications • Multi-tasking, problem solving, critical thinking, sense of urgency, sense of humor Work for a corporation that believes in developing our people.
