About the Role
Our client, a leading architecture and design practice, is seeking a Bid Coordinator (Maternity Cover) to support their London-based studio. Reporting to the Managing Director and Bid Manager, you will play a crucial role in coordinating bid and tender activities, working closely with senior management and design teams to produce high-quality submissions. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and highly organised professional to contribute to a thriving creative practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and respond to EU public procurement notices and monitor tender portals.
* Prepare and coordinate high-quality bid and tender submissions.
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure all deadlines are met.
* Assist in drafting responses using existing content and past submissions.
* Liaise with clients and external consultants as required.
* Create engaging presentation materials for tender interviews.
* Maintain and update the office’s contact and project databases.
* Proofread and refine bid and tender documents to ensure clarity and accuracy.
* Collaborate with finance and technical teams to maintain compliance with frameworks and procurement requirements.
* Conduct research related to bids and tenders.
* Track and analyse bid success rates and maintain statistics.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in a bid coordination or similar role, ideally within an architecture, design, or construction environment.
* Excellent attention to detail, presentation skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
* Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong spelling and grammar.
* Ability to multitask and collaborate effectively within a team.
* A calm, professional, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
