Head of Service – People and Culture (HR Transformation)
Permanent Full Time, 35 hours per week
Based on City Campus (required to cover Riverside Campus)
Salary: £54,878 to £58,762 per annum
The College is looking to recruit an experienced HR Professional to lead and drive change across our key people services including HR, Organisational Development, Payroll, and Equality Diversity & Inclusion.
As Head of Service for People & Culture, you will play a pivotal role in leading and enhancing HR services across the College. You will drive the implementation of the People & Culture Strategy, ensuring alignment with the College’s strategic objectives. Your leadership will foster a culture of service excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement while managing stakeholder engagement, including Trade Unions and external partners.
The successful candidate will support the development of HR policies and procedures, governance frameworks, and key performance reporting, ensuring a streamlined and data-driven approach to workforce management with a strong focus on organisational change and culture.
You will provide expert guidance to senior leaders and drive initiatives that shape the College’s people-first approach. The College will be moving HR systems, and this role will play a key role in supporting the transformation change that this will bring to the wider HR team and to the College.
The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex information to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You will have a strong generalist HR background, with proven knowledge and experience, and be able to provide expert guidance and advice on current and emerging legislation as well as statutory obligations.
