Skilled Production Operatives| Days |4 on, 4 off
Location: Yorkshire Baker, Norton, Malton
We are currently recruiting for the following skilled production operatives, to work in our prep area on days
Mixing Skilled Operative
Kitchen Skilled Operative
Materials Skilled Operative
We will offer FLT training to the successful candidates
Main duties include (but not limited to):
1. Under the guidance of the Area Manager, ensure that each product specification is followed, and any anomalies are reported immediately
2. Ensure that any production targets set by the Area Manager are met; or if this is not possible, shortfalls are reported to the relevant person in a timely manner
3. Maintain a clean and tidy area (work, changing room, canteen etc), meeting both safety and hygiene regulations of the site
4. Wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment at all times within the Production Area.
5. Report any equipment defects immediately to the Area Supervisor / Team Leader
6. Behave in a safe and appropriate manner at all times
7. Assist during internal / external audits as required
8. Adhere to all Company Rules and Policies
9. Maintain high levels of work performance including attendance, timekeeping etc
Candidate requirements:
10. Reliable with a can-do attitude
11. Good standard of English
12. Basic understanding of health & safety
13. Experience of working in food production, an advantage
14. Self-motivated and a team player
15. Basic numeric & literacy skills
