WHAT TO EXPECT
JLR are developing state of the art automated driving systems for worldwide deployment. As part of JLR ADAS pre-development team your task will be to support the development of the future ADAS system generation, which will see our vehicle progressing to full autonomous driving, referred to as an L4+ autonomous driving system, by 2030.
In order to fulfil this vision, JLR is working on specific software functionalities developments that aim to build in house software modules in order to maximise components reusability and robustness in the future landscape of autonomous driving.
Key accountabilities and responsibilities
* Design of the Software and functions related to AAD Design and Architecture
* Software Design - the specification and design of systems and their components to meet defined needs, retaining compatibility with Software architectures.
* The design, creation, testing and documenting of new and amended programs from supplied specifications in accordance with agreed standards.
* Delivery of Software and sub-systems within AAD across the range of JLR vehicles
* Provide technical support and guidance throughout the software development process.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
* Significant Software Architecture experience
* Significant knowledge of systems architecture and associated technologies
* Significant experience of Software Development Life Cycle and associated processes
* Multiple Software Language skills (C, C++, Python, Java, etc)
* Experience in Automotive Engineering Delivery and in solving complex technical issues using a structured approach
