An opportunity for a Paediatric Sleep/Respiratory Physiologist (Band 6) has become available on a 9 month fixed term contract. The post holder will join the world class Paediatric Respiratory Department at Royal Brompton Hospital. You will be part of the busy and friendly Respiratory Physiology team and Paediatric Respiratory Multidisciplinary team.
Main duties of the job
This exciting role involves being part of the physiology service for sleep medicine in children's services. The service is responsible for a variety of clinical responsibilities, performing a wide range of respiratory investigations. The successful candidate will work clinically within the Children's Sleep and Ventilation Unit, as well as in clinics, theatres and on the ward. Duties involve performing Sleep studies and other physiological tests such as spirometry, FeNO measurements and oesophageal pH studies.

The post holder will work closely with sleep and respiratory physiologists as well as daily engagement with the wider multi-disciplinary team (including doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, health care assistance and play specialists).
