Job summary An opportunity to join the team in the gynaecology outpatient department has arisen. If you are a hardworking, dedicated team player this may be a role that you would enjoy. We are seeking an HCA with outpatient experience and an interest in supporting patients having treatments in our department and patients attending general gynae clinics. Someone organised and keen to assist with ordering supplies and equipment, and who is happy to help keep the departments clean and tidy. Main duties of the job Assisting in the smooth running of clinics and supporting the patients that attend. Caring for women undergoing treatment procedures in the clinic, e.g.: hysteroscopy, cystoscopy and colposcopy. and ensuring their safe recovery in the department. Keeping patients informed of waiting times and helping to keep clinics running to time. Chaperoning our doctors during examinations and preparing the rooms for the next clinic. Checking that there is plenty of equipment in the department and ordering more when supplies get low. Our team works in CRH and HRI, usually Monday to Friday but there is an expectation that occasional clinics at the weekends are staffed by the team.
