Role Responsibilities
As part of the pastoral team, your responsibilities will include:
1. Effective communication with students, parents/carers, and external organizations to support student needs.
2. Supervision and guidance of students to ensure their well-being and safety.
3. Assisting with administrative tasks such as record-keeping, data entry, and resource organization.
4. Collaborating with the pastoral team to develop strategies for student support and well-being.
5. Supporting students' academic and personal development, promoting positive behavior and a conducive learning environment.
6. Conducting individual or group sessions to address specific student needs.
7. Liaising with external agencies for additional student support and resources.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a student support role within a school setting.
* Excellent interpersonal skills for building effective relationships with students, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
* Skills in communication, organization, problem-solving, and empathy.
* Attention to detail in administrative tasks.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Relevant qualifications and training, as detailed on the Protocol Education website.

All pay rates include statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanency later.
