Responsibilities:
* Develop and create CMM programs using mCosmos software to perform precise measurements on parts and assemblies
* Operate CMM machines efficiently to measure components as per engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerances
* Set up and calibrate CMM machines before conducting measurements to ensure accuracy and reliability
* Conduct regular inspection and verification of parts according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
* Utilise mCosmos software for efficient measurement programming, including advanced features like probe configurations, coordinate system setups, and data analysis tools
* Oversee regular calibration of all factory measurement equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal quality requirements
* Organise and coordinate with external calibration suppliers for periodic calibration services, ensuring all necessary certifications and documentation are provided
Experience Required:
* Experience working with other CMM software programs such as PC-DMIS, mCosmos, or similar
* Certification in quality control or CMM operation (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Technician)
* Familiarity with ISO/TS 16949 or other industry-specific quality standards
* Knowledge of calibration standards and working with external suppliers for equipment calibration and validation
