After comprehensive training, you will be managing a portfolio of phase 5-10 trials. You will be central to patient appointments, explaining the trials, collecting data, providing direct care including administration of new SACT therapies, and being a key support for the patients and their families. You will be working mainly Monday through Friday with occasional weekend working. Main duties of the job The post holder will work in the Early Phase Clinical trials research team, which is part of the Oncology and Haematology Directorate, and is involved in a wide spectrum of clinical research, predominantly phase I/II and translational research. The team works in collaboration with the CRN as well as academic, charity and commercial partners, and is responsible for the delivery of the Early phase trials in the Oncology and Haematology portfolio. The post holder will work closely with other research nurses, clinical research practitioners, data managers, clinical teams, and designated junior doctors/SPR's, continually striving to improve quality of care and clinical outcomes.
