Quality Inspector

£35,000 - £40,000 Per annum
Our client is currently expanding and looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their growing team!
Quality Inspector Roles and Responsibilities:
* Perform inspection and testing of materials and components using various processes and techniques, following job card instructions, drawings, specifications, and applicable quality procedures.
* Accurately interpret component drawings and test procedures, ensuring that part numbers, drawing revisions, product requirements, and special process needs are properly identified and applied.
* Generate inspection and non-conformance reports in line with the company’s quality policy.
* Record all inspection and testing work in the Tricorn system.
* Identify jigs and components using laser marking as specified in the job card instructions.
* Handle materials with care and comply with safety regulations to prevent damage and accidents.
* Complete tasks according to work schedules to ensure productivity is maintained at the highest level.
* Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality issues.
The Ideal Quality Inspector Will:
* Have experience using inspection tools such as Verniers and Micrometers.
* Have expertise in geometric dimensioning & tolerancing.
* Possess standard computer skills such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Have knowledge of using CMM.
* Liquid Penetrant NDT experience would be a strong advantage but is not essential as training can be given.
* Have the ability to read/interpret and understand technical drawings/CAD models.
* Have the physical ability to lift and move light to medium weights during inspection activities.
