Permanent Full Time Our client are seeking a Production Planner to join their Production Control Team As our Production Planner, you will Implement and maintain the computerised planning system to maintain departmental production schedules, forecast sales, customer update information. Liaise daily with production departments to ensure plan is maintained or issues are reported and acted on appropriately. Manage and expedite orders from order receipt to despatch, including communication with NPI teams and processes prior to production. Work with wider production control team to ensure all ancillary functions are kept at an appropriate standard - including stock control, management of sub-contractors, liaising with customers and continuous improvement projects covering a wide range of activities. More about you: Wed like you to have experience in planning workload on production equipment with great communication skills and strong IT skills. Ideally, youll have a good understanding of metal forging techniques and knowledge of the effects of hot working metals and the associated metallurgy.
