Mid-way through their sustainable growth journey - now is the time to build upon their Sales and Key Accounts Team; we are looking for an ambitious and energetic Key Account Director to ensure consistent growth within the building materials division. The business has an award winning reputation in tool and equipment hire, and it is an exciting time for an experienced leader to join as an individual contributor in this vertical. If you have a successful track record of B2B selling building materials, winning new business and developing accounts UK-wide, we would love to hear from you. (This is a field based role - you can be located anywhere in the UK). Key Responsibilities: You will be required to create a sales plan, targeting key potential customers in the industry. Set goals and targets. Learn new product and service features and benefits. Identify leads and new sales opportunities. Manage the entire sales cycle. Create and maintain strong client relationships. Deliver accurate and relevant insight. Work alongside the sales team to develop up selling and cross-selling strategies for key clients. Prepare and present KPI reports to internal stakeholders. Key skills: The ability to influence key stakeholders and decision makers. Strong verbal and written communication skills. High levels of trust and integrity. Experienced writing and delivering sales presentations. Experience selling building materials to customers in the UK. Organised and high attention to detail.
