My client, one of the UK's leading womenswear suppliers to major retailers, is looking for a driven and dynamic Account Manager to join their growing team and work alongside a senior account manager. This is a fantastic chance to work across multiple product categories, supporting key accounts and playing a vital role in the business's continued success. This role would suit someone from a fashion supplier background at junior account manager or sales coordinator level, or from a buying background. This role offers hybrid working with at least 3 days in the office.
Main Responsibilities
* Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key retail accounts.
* Working closely with overseas factories, ensuring seamless daily communication.
* Handling initial costings, negotiating first prices, and managing deliveries.
* Attending buyer meetings, discussing pricing, delivery schedules, and product feedback.
* Collaborating with design teams to develop and refine products for customers.
* Managing the critical path and ensuring orders are handled efficiently.
Person Specification
* Ladieswear experience within a fashion supplier or a buying background (Assistant Buyer level or above).
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills - comfortable liaising with factories and clients.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organisational skills to support multiple account managers.
* Confident, proactive, and passionate about product development.
