Danny Sullivan Group are searching for their next Design Co-ordinator to work in the Southern Region – across London, Reading, Aylesbury, Thames Valley & Oxford. The candidate will be supporting the Design Manager in overlooking the delivery of design and technical situations for multiple clients and projects. Working collaboratively, it will ensure that projects are delivered on time and within regulations. Responsibilities: Align design with budget and programme, ensuring compliance with project requirements, standards, and specifications. Support the Design Manager in adhering to CDM regulations and discharging Principal Designer duties. Promote safety, buildability, environmental best practices, and sustainability through design. Assist in producing design plans and briefs. Coordinate with external design consultants. Collaborate with internal disciplines, technical, operational, maintenance, and strategic stakeholders, and design coordinators. Ensure site investigations and surveys meet project requirements, design outputs are buildable, and technical queries are addressed. Contribute to construction planning activities, including consents and stakeholder management. Participate in internal and external assurance, governance, and review processes, including producing relevant deliverables. Manage design changes, risks, and opportunities. Support the preparation of handover documentation. Experience/Qualifications: Considerable experience in water and wastewater infrastructure. Understanding of Temporary Works. Degree/HNC qualified (or equivalent) or working towards an apprenticeship or similar qualification). Awareness of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and common data environments.
