Job Title: SEN Support Worker Location: North West England, Lancashire, Fleetwood Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £12.85 - £14.00 Per day Job Duties: The SEN Support Worker will be responsible for providing support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in an educational setting. Duties include assisting students with their learning activities, implementing individual education plans, monitoring and recording student progress, and collaborating with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment. Required Qualifications: - A relevant qualification in education or special needs support - Experience working with individuals with SEN - Strong communication and interpersonal skills Education: A minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths Experience: Prior experience working in a similar role within an educational setting Knowledge and Skills: - Understanding of Special Educational Needs and the ability to implement support strategies - Ability to work effectively as part of a team - Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask Preferred Qualifications: - Additional training in SEN support - First Aid certification Working Conditions: - The role may require working with students who have varying needs and behaviours - The job may involve some physical activities such as assisting students with mobility - Working hours may vary depending on the needs of the educational setting All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
