* Have you designed & delivered training on electrical based equipment?
We are working with one of the UK’s largest independent Coffee Machine specialists, whose clients include pub groups, restaurant chains, fuel retailers & coffee machine manufacturers.
They are seeking two Technical Trainers who can train their future Coffee Engineers and ensure their current Engineers are kept up to date with the latest machines.
The Role
Based within a region and within a new training centre, you will be responsible for developing and delivering training programmes that enhance the technical skills of the company's engineers and office support staff. This role requires a strong background in engineering principles and the ability to convey complex information in an accessible manner. The Technical Trainer will play a crucial role in ensuring that the workforce is equipped with the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
Duties
* Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training materials and programmes focused on technical skills.
* Conduct engaging training sessions using various instructional techniques to cater to different learning styles.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes through assessments and feedback, making necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to stay updated on new technologies, tools, and processes relevant to the organisation.
* Provide one-on-one coaching and support to employees as needed to reinforce learning outcomes.
* Maintain accurate records of training activities and participant progress.
Your Experience
You will have previous Engineer Training experience, a thirst for machine & technical knowledge, with a drive & enthusiasm for delivering engaging training. You will be:
* Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings.
* Mechanical knowledge is essential, with experience.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
* Previous experience in a training or educational role is preferred but not mandatory.
* A proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and methodologies.
* Willingness to travel and work away when required.
* Ability to create engaging learning materials, including manuals, videos, and exercises.
* Organisational Skills.
Remuneration Package
* Salary of circa £40,000
