Your Role
As a Commercial Trading Underwriter, you will:
Underwrite profitable mid-market commercial business across Scotland’s broker market, partnering with both national and regional brokerages.
Handle a mix of core Property & Casualty (P&C) lines in a fast-paced, trading focused environment.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key broker contacts, ensuring exceptional service and long-term success.
Work within an underwriting license tailored to your expertise, with opportunities for further development.
Be part of a team that values collaboration and strategic thinking, offering exposure to senior underwriters and mentorship opportunities.

Who We’re Looking For
Experience – A background in commercial insurance, ideally in mid-market underwriting.
Technical & Relationship Skills – Strong understanding of P&C risks, coupled with the ability to build meaningful partnerships with brokers.
Ambition – A desire to develop your expertise, expand your underwriting authority, and progress within a leading insurer.
