Responsibilities:
1. Deliver critical engineering support for both planned and unplanned maintenance needs, ensuring uninterrupted operation.
2. Plan, execute, and oversee routine maintenance tasks, ensuring all activities are completed to a high standard and within established timelines.
3. Accurately complete all necessary documentation and ensure it is signed off in a timely manner by the relevant personnel.
4. Uphold strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.
5. Understand, implement, and promote a cGMP-compliant culture, ensuring that all work areas meet the highest housekeeping and safety standards.
6. Utilise SAP to log and track maintenance activities and assist colleagues in learning SAP functions.
Qualifications:
1. Completed Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally with a HNC/D qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
2. Completion of the Engineering Multi-skilling training/development program, reflecting the dual aspects of the role.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within teams and with other departments.
4. Ability to work under pressure, with flexibility and a proactive approach to problem resolution.
Experience:
1. Previous experience within the pharmaceutical industry is highly advantageous.
2. FMCG experience is a plus, but not a requirement.
3. Strong mechanical background with a working knowledge of electrical systems.
4. Sound understanding of GMP practices and the ability to implement them in day-to-day activities.
5. Familiarity with root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
6. Experience in filling and packing machinery maintenance is highly preferred.
