We're looking for an enthusiastic Cook to work across our Arosfa retirement housing scheme in Bridgend and/or our Saebren retirement housing scheme in RCT.
This is a permanent role, working on a relief basis, as and when required (zero hour contract).
What you'll do
1. Ensure our tenants are provided with healthy, high quality options for lunch and evening meals.
2. Maintain a good standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
3. Direct and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring awareness of responsibilities regarding food hygiene and preparation.
What you'll need
1. Skills and knowledge to communicate clearly and provide a first class service to tenants.
2. A food hygiene certificate and catering experience in a professional setting.
3. Well-organised with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines, even under pressure.

Where you'll be working
Arosfa retirement home, based in Bridgend, is a modern centrally heated building situated in Brackla. It has ten self-contained studio apartments available to rent by single persons over the age of 55.
Saebren is a modern centrally heated building situated in Treherbert. It has ten self-contained studio apartments available to rent by single persons over the age of 55.
Both Arosfa and Saebren are not residential homes; residents live independently in their own flat, with access to a communal lounge/dining room, launderette, and gardens.
