Farming & Commercial Insurance Account Executive
Salary: Competitive, dependant on experience
Full Time position: Monday to Friday – 35 hours per week
Permanent Contract
Location: Flexible within Ceredigion – Aberaeron, Aberystwyth or Newcastle Emlyn

An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Ceredigion and Llandovery Agency, based out of one of our offices in Aberaeron, Aberystwyth or Newcastle Emlyn.
About the role:
The successful candidate will be dealing with existing and potential Farm and Commercial Insurance customers, introducing them to the NFU Mutual Product Portfolio. They will manage and develop customer relationships face to face and on the telephone.
About you:
We are looking for an ambitious, innovative and friendly individual to join our team. The role will require the candidate to have exceptional customer service skills, ensuring the customer is at the heart of everything they do. Previous sales experience in an agricultural or commercial business is desired but not essential.
The candidate must hold:
1. 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade C or above.
2. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages.

The candidate will be fully trained in order to become licensed to sell NFU Mutual’s products and deliver the award-winning service NFU Mutual has become renowned for. There will be opportunities to study for Chartered Insurance Institute qualifications and further qualifications.
Good Repute Checks:
Agents are required to ensure that they and their staff are of Good Repute and are required to carry out two independent checks on all staff:
1. Basic criminality check – Basic checks show any ‘unspent’ criminal records (as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974). Once a conviction or caution is ‘spent’, it no longer shows on a basic check.
2. Bankruptcy check – to ensure that staff are not an un-discharged bankrupt.
