Rates: £40.00p/h - £45.00p/h (Outside IR35)

I am working with a key client based in the Northwest who are looking for a Software Controls Engineer to join their business on a contract basis. My client are leaders in designing & supplying equipment and systems into FMCG industries. This contract is an initial 3 months however there is a strong likelihood of extension.

As a skilled Software Controls Engineer, you will require to conduct the following duties:

* Develop the software code on two HMI conversions, utilising Mitsubishi
* On site installation of new software
* Developing and editing code from scratch
* Full project lifecycle from development through to commission and handover on site
* Work autonomously and independently, as well as communicating effectively internally

The successful Software Controls Engineer will need to have the following attributes:

* Worked within the food industry on complex projects
* Strong background in coding both editing and development
* Mitsubishi and or VIA experience
* Strong customer facing skills
