Digital Marketing & Social Media Executive
Innovation Automotive is the UK-based vehicle distributor located in Cirencester, Gloucestershire behind the new Skywell name. A young company with big ambitions, and one simple mission: Making the transition to electric vehicles simple and affordable for everyone.
To complement this growth, we are looking for an experienced Digital & Social Media Executive, who will be responsible for managing the company's website, digital content, and social media presence (across various platforms) by creating engaging content, audience engagement, analysing performance metrics, and implementing strategies to build brand awareness and drive online interactions, all while maintaining a positive brand image and responding to customer sentiment on social channels.
The role:
1. Develop and execute a content calendar, crafting engaging posts, videos, and graphics for various social media platforms aligned with brand messaging.
2. Create and maintain a vehicle image/video content library, which is kept relevant and engaging for use across varying platforms and departments.
3. Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries from followers, actively engaging with the audience to foster positive brand interactions.
4. Update website with key brand, product, news and aftersales information, to ensure relevance and engagement.
5. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like reach, impressions, engagement, and conversions to measure campaign success and identify areas for improvement.
6. Stay updated on emerging social media trends and incorporate them into the strategy to maintain relevance.
7. Design and execute targeted social media campaigns to promote products, services, or events.
8. Monitor online conversations and address any negative feedback or crisis situations promptly.
9. Understand the nuances of different social media platforms and tailor content accordingly to maximize reach.
10. Working with internal departments and external agencies/partners, to integrate social media strategies with overall marketing campaign.
11. UK travel may be required, to support with events.
The expectation:
1. Ability to write compelling copy, craft engaging messages, and effectively interact with audiences.
2. Generate innovative content ideas that resonate with the target audience and stand out on social media.
3. Interpret data from social media analytics to inform decision-making and optimise campaigns.
4. Familiarity with various social media platforms, scheduling tools, and analytics dashboards.
5. Understanding of SEO, paid advertising, and other digital marketing strategies.
6. Effectively manage multiple social media accounts and projects simultaneously.
7. Supports Sales, Aftersales, Business Support and Marketing departments to develop and deliver the annual plan and budget.
The person:
1. A proven track record or experience in digital marketing and social media (ideally in automotive).
2. A self-starter who can work autonomously, and as part of a fast-paced ever changing environment.
3. Knowledge and experience of image/video editing software.
4. Excellent communication skills, a must.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Understanding of seasonal trends, calendar highlights for engaging and relevant content creation.
7. Strong familiarity with sales and aftersales in an automotive environment.
8. Knowledge of automotive, expected audience/customer base and its required tone of voice to attract new followers and engage with existing.
9. Understands the needs of both customers and the company and demonstrates this in their work.
10. Energetic and enthusiastic in their communication and shows this through their creativity.
11. Takes responsibility in all aspects of their role, working without close supervision and demonstrating effective self-management.

Job Details:
UK resident, with right to work in UK required. Full time role, Monday-Friday 9.00-17.30, and as business needs require. Salary c.£35,000 per annum, DOE. Discretionary, performance related bonus scheme that rewards you whilst you help us to achieve our goals. Hybrid working available – from our Cirencester office, or from home when required for you and your family. Matched pension contribution up to 5%. Company phone. Laptop provided.
