Job Type: Full-time Monday - Friday 9am - 6:30PM

The Role:

What We’re Looking For:
* Someone who enjoys working in a supportive and fun team environment
* A passion for delivering high-quality veterinary care
* Good communication skills and a caring approach to clients and their pets
* Perform surgical procedures on animals, including routine spays, neuters, and more complex surgeries.
* Conduct thorough examinations and diagnose medical conditions in animals.
* Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
* Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
* Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patients.
* Educate pet owners on post-operative care, nutrition, and general animal health.
* Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine and surgical techniques.
* Participate in laboratory testing and analysis as needed for diagnosis and treatment
Qualifications:
* A degree in Veterinary Medicine (BVSc or equivalent) and full registration with the relevant veterinary council.
* Proven experience in a clinical setting, particularly in surgical procedures.
* Strong knowledge of veterinary laboratory practices is advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with pet owners and team members.
* Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanor.
* A genuine passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing exceptional care.
