An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fundraising and Marketing Team Assistant to join the team at Head Office. Job title: Fundraising & Marketing Team Assistant Reports to: Fundraising & Community Engagement Manager Hours of Work: 17.5 hours per week, school hours and flexible working considered Place of work: Head Office Autism Anglia is a well-established charity providing direct provision for people within the Autistic Spectrum from pre-school to adults. We provide a range of services to enable autistic people to live as independently as possible and experience choice and inclusion in society. The Role: As Fundraising & Marketing Team Assistant you’ll work within our small dynamic team to provide administrative, customer service, database, events and campaigns support. In this varied role, you will be key in supporting the charity to raise awareness, support income generation and evolve the profile of Autism Anglia and its work. Be the first point of contact for supporters contacting the team by email and telephone, responding to enquiries in a friendly helpful manner Enter donations, event registrations and other fundraising pledges on to Beacon CRM system Ensure each donation is thanked in a timely and personalised manner, in keeping with donor’s communication preferences Distribute fundraising materials and resources to fundraisers eg, t-shirts, fundraising packs, collection tins Support with event administration and promotion, for example London Marathon Provide support to marketing campaigns and activities, for example World Autism Acceptance Month Work collaboratively with the finance team to ensure donations are coded to the correct budget line Attend occasional weekend/evening events to support with event management Take personal responsibility and act within the spirit, ethos and values of Autism Anglia Applications are welcome from applicants who: Have Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent) to a Grade A-C Experience of providing administration support in a busy environment Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook Highly motivated and a desire to learn Knowledge of data protection best practice and GDPRdesirable Excellent spoken and written communication skills To Apply: If you have a genuine passion for supporting and uplifting others, your outstanding future at Autism Anglia could be moments away.
