About the role: We are partnering with an outstanding special needs school in Okehampton to recruit a skilled and dedicated SEMH teaching assistant. This rewarding position involves working with students from Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 4, so adaptability and a flexible approach are essential. The students you will support have social, emotional and mental health (SEMH needs, often alongside challenges such as autism, ADHD, attachment difficulties, or speech and language issues. Success in this role requires excellent behaviour management skills, patience, and a resilient, positive attitude.
