Warehouse Manager | Lichfield | Full Time | £25,000 to £30,000 depending on experience
Formed in 2019, our client is an ambitious and rapidly expanding company within the B2B environment. They are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager to join their team. The role will entail being responsible for the smooth running of the warehouse. Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe environment is essential in ensuring efficient and effective processes and procedures.

Are you the right person for the job?
* Full driving licence
* 3+ years in a similar warehouse environment
* IT skills including use of Office, Excel, Word, etc. and inventory management systems
* Meticulous attention to detail
* Good understanding of part numbers, batch numbers, etc
* Reliable, punctual and flexible
* Self-driven with a natural enthusiasm to support others and ensure things run smoothly and effectively
* Team orientated mindset with good interpersonal skills
* Well organised
* Ambitious to learn and develop as the company grows
* Ability to work in a busy workplace environment
* Numerate
* Flexible and open to occasional weekend hours
* Experience in manual handling
* Forklift certification is preferred
What will your role look like?
* Execute warehouse processes and follow established procedures
* Receive, inspect, and record all incoming shipments
* Book products into inventory systems and store them accurately
* Precisely pick inventory for customer orders and inspect for quality
* Verify documentation for internal and external stakeholders including shipping notes, commercial invoices and packing lists
* Flag issues with colleagues to ensure early remedial action is taken
* Pack shipments securely, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction
* Prepare goods for dispatch and coordinate with couriers
* Receive and process product returns
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless order processing
* Operate equipment such as stackers and pump trucks safely
* Track and monitor inventory using the systems in place
* Maintain a clean and efficient environment inside (warehouse) and out
* Other responsibilities to be added as required
