IT Support and Security Manager - Wilmslow 2-3 days a week - £50k-£60k dependent on experience

The Role
As the IT Support and Security Manager, you will oversee IT systems and security across the business, leading a motivated team to ensure optimal service delivery and security. You will also manage relationships with third-party IT suppliers, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met and security protocols are in place.
Your main responsibilities will include:
1. Leadership: Lead and develop a team of IT support and security professionals, ensuring they are motivated and performing effectively.
2. Supplier Management: Manage relationships with third-party IT service providers, ensuring SLAs are consistently met and security standards are upheld.
3. Security Management: Implement and maintain the company’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) and security accreditations.
4. Incident Management: Take a proactive approach to incident management, ensuring swift and effective resolution of any IT or security issues.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal teams, from leadership to frontline staff, to ensure that IT and security systems support the business’s operational goals.
What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you should have:
1. Strong leadership experience in IT support and security environments.
2. A solid understanding of cyber security frameworks (such as Cyber Essentials) and their practical implementation.
3. Experience in managing third-party suppliers and ensuring SLAs are achieved.
4. A proven track record in managing an ISMS.
5. The ability to remain calm and effective under pressure, especially during security incidents.
