Position: Software Developer (WPF, C#, .NET, SQL Server) – Bristol/Hybrid
Salary: Up to £40,000 - £60,000

The Role
As a Software Developer, you will join the R&D team and work towards transforming lives by developing software which is utilised globally. They want people who are passionate about making a difference – transforming lives and having a major impact in their sector. You will develop a wide range of solutions, largely desktop solutions, however you will also get the opportunity to learn and work on web-based .NET solutions. You will write clean, working code and associated tests and also improve the standard of the existing codebase making it more reliable, testable and maintainable. In addition to this, you will implement, monitor and alert/support production services. Your voice will be extremely important as you help evolve your team practices and processes as well as collaborate with customers and stakeholders. You will be confident in working on problems from scratch – turning the most complex of problems into manageable, efficient solutions. You will work across multiple stacks, platforms and architectures and the role will offer a great deal of variety.
Requirements
1. 3 years of experience in software development ideally within WPF, .Net, C#, Java.
2. You will have worked on solutions from the ground up.
3. Have a strong understanding of design principles and OWASP secure coding practices.
4. Have a passion for professional software engineering best practices, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
5. Agile ways of working.
