Lecturer in Creative Arts (Digital) Hourly Paid
Hours: Variable (up to 24 hours per week)
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract to 30 June 2025
Salary: Band B: £22.36 per hour plus £5.33 holiday pay
All hourly paid part-time staff receive pay the month following the month in which hours are worked, e.g. hours worked in November are paid at the end of December. Holiday pay is accrued and paid three times per annum, March, August, and December.

The Role
You will be responsible for contributing to the Level 1–3 Art & Design curriculum accredited by UAL (University of the Arts London), delivering exceptional teaching, learning, and assessment. As the department's digital specialist, your role is pivotal in connecting diverse creative disciplines with digital technologies and applications, fostering innovation and enhancing student outcomes.
The Creative Arts department has a strong external reputation for delivering flagship UAL provision, and we are looking for someone who can continue to support and further develop its curriculum to meet local and national demand.
What we are looking for
You should hold a minimum UK level 4 qualification or ENIC equivalent in a related subject and possess a PGCE or other recognised teaching qualification. You will need demonstrable knowledge and experience in creative digital approaches and applications, which include:
1. Pro-Create
2. Pro-Create Dreams Animation
3. Adobe Illustrator
4. Photoshop
5. Blender
You will be experienced in implementing strategies for engaging and managing Level 1-3 learners' progress, including attendance.
