Your Key Responsibilities: Service, repair, and maintain plant equipment to the manufacturers specifications, ensuring safety and reliability. Diagnose and rectify electrical, hydraulic, powertrain, and other faults, using diagnostic software (training provided). Report machine defects and upsell services, earning additional financial benefits. Maintain detailed service records via a tablet system. Collaborate closely with the service department, management, and parts teams. Ensure compliance with health and safety practices, including completing risk assessments. What Were Looking For: Qualifications: NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualifications in engineering. Experience: Expertise in construction plant, diesel engines, electrics, hydraulics, and transmissions. Diagnostic Skills: Ability to fault-find using electronic equipment. Communication: Build strong relationships with customers and provide exceptional service. Professionalism: Present a professional image and maintain excellent time management.
