Physiotherapist/ Sports Therapist (Self Employed | Casual Contract Position)
Overview
The Den Strength and Conditioning Gym in Hertfordshire is looking for an extremely ambitious Physiotherapist/ Sports Therapist to lead our Sports Injury Rehabilitation Program. Initial responsibilities include 1 x monthly Injury Clinic.
Initial Proposal
We have a wide range of athletes here at The Den. It is no secret that, where you have competitive sports you have injuries. As part of our mission to ensure our athletes have ‘all their support under one roof’, we would like to offer Sports Rehabilitation.
1 x Monthly Clinic (Job Activities)
* Pre-clinic Injury briefing document from The Den S&C Coaches
* 2-hour walk-in clinic (with appointment)
* 20-minute initial consultations & 10-15 minute re-assessments
* Post-clinic de-brief with S&C coaches & treatment plan to follow
Pay: £65 per clinic (+£25/hour if clinic hours are extended due to demand)
The ideal candidate will have experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating sports injuries in a clinic-style setting. The candidate must work well in a multi-disciplinary team and have an athlete-centred approach to rehabilitation.
The ideal candidate will be qualified to Level 3 or above in Sports Therapy or similar.
This is a self-employed, freelance role so the candidate must have:
* Membership with a respective professional body (The Society of Sports Therapists/ BASRaT)
* Professional Indemnity Insurance
* Public Liability Insurance
* UTR number (Tax)
