Role: Accounts Payable Supervisor
Location: Glasgow City Centre (Hybrid Working)

You will have responsibility for managing all aspects of the accounts payable team and preparing and reviewing standard procedural documents for daily operations.
This opportunity requires a confident professional to work in cross-collaboration with different departments.
Our client is ideally looking for someone with experience in managing an Accounts Payable team, and has excellent experience in Microsoft Office who is looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to thrive within a high-profile role.
Key Responsibilities:
* AP Team Supervisor
o Manage all aspects of accounts payable team
o Prepare and review standard procedural documents for daily operations
o Support AP team members and provide guidance
o Manage employee performance
o Ongoing staff training & development
o Delegate tasks to team members
o Approve holidays/allocate holiday cover
o Approve weekly payment runs
o Conduct periodic employee appraisals
* Cash Management
o Prepare data for weekly cashflow forecast meeting (group wide)
o Assist group accountant with any cashflow related tasks
o Forecast cashflow requirements for PLC, liaise with senior finance team
o Intercompany funds transfer to cover payment runs, PAYE, Payroll, VAT
Adhoc Duties:
* Prepare and input monthly intercompany journals
* Update Royalty Schedules upon receipt of distribution statements
* Assist with annual audit deliverables i.e. preparation of audit packs
Experience:
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Strong organisational skills
* Ability to delegate and strong leadership skills
