Role: Special Needs Teaching Assistant Location: Secondary School in Leamington Spa Contract Type: Full-time, term-time Start Date: As soon as possible About the Role: As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with small groups of SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) students, providing them with the extra support they need to thrive in the classroom. Your role will include: Supporting students in accessing the curriculum and completing class tasks. Providing tailored, one-to-one or small group interventions based on individual needs. Assisting students with personal care and promoting their independence. Helping create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Working closely with teachers, SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), and parents to monitor progress. Who we are looking for: We are seeking a kind, patient, and adaptable individual with: A passion for working with young people, especially those with special educational needs. Experience working with SEND students (desirable but not essential). Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. A proactive approach to supporting students both academically and emotionally. A commitment to helping students overcome challenges and succeed in their education.
