The LADO service plays a crucial role in managing allegations against individuals working with children and young people, ensuring these matters are handled professionally and in line with statutory responsibilities.
The Role
As the LADO Assistant you will provide high-level business support to the LADO team, helping them deliver their statutory duties effectively and efficiently.
You will support and coordinate key systems, processes, and functions to ensure timely responses and adherence to established standards.
You will contribute to the strategic direction and success of the LADO Service Development Plan.

Who we are looking for…
We are looking for someone with a good knowledge of/experience of Child Protection/Safeguarding.
Applicants must have an NVQ 3/4 or have relevant work experience.
We are looking for experience of using a range of ICT packages – Excel/Word/PowerPoint.
You would need to provide high-level business support to the LADO team, helping them deliver their statutory duties effectively and efficiently and ensuring that the Team adhere to relevant timescales and standards and operate efficiently and effectively.
