Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a special educational needs school in Rugeley catering to children aged 5-19 with complex communication and learning difficulties, in addition to significant medical needs.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing individualised support to the students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to work Monday to Friday, from 8:30 to 15:30, on a long-term basis.
The ideal candidate for this role will have prior experience supporting individuals with special educational needs or working in a care setting. Your role will involve fostering independence, promoting positive social behaviours, and assisting in the development of self-regulation skills among the students.
