We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join an inclusive and supportive educational environment. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students with special educational needs. The role will involve Moving & Handling and Team Teach – Free accredited training will be given in both these areas.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supporting Classroom Activities: Assist the class teacher in planning and implementing differentiated instructional strategies to meet the unique needs of students with special educational needs.
2. One-on-One Support: Provide individualized support to students with SEN, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
3. Collaboration: Work closely with the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), teachers, and other support staff to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
4. Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Support in the assessment of students’ progress and contribute to the review of individual learning goals, providing feedback to the teaching team.
5. Behavior Management: Implement effective behavior management strategies to ensure a positive and safe learning environment for all students.

* The minimum rate of pay – £80 to £100 per day
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application
* Provide a minimum of two professional references
