Payroll Coordinator - Food Manufacturing Company
Responsibilities:
1. Process and manage payroll for our diverse workforce in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records related to payroll, benefits, and deductions.
3. Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary adjustments.
4. Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve employee inquiries related to payroll issues.
5. Prepare payroll reports and assist with payroll-related audits.
Requirements:
1. Ideally have ADP, IHCM2 experience.
2. Prior experience as a Payroll Coordinator or in a similar payroll management role, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
3. Experience with HR duties.
4. Proficiency in payroll software and strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and employment laws.
5. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in numerical calculations.
6. Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees and resolve payroll-related inquiries or issues.
7. Strong organisational and time management skills, able to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
8. Good working knowledge of PAYE, SSP, SMP, and SPP.
9. Good understanding of HMRC and legal requirements affecting payroll.
10. Responsible for ensuring Food Safety, Quality, GMP, Health and Safety and Hygiene compliance at all times.
