HR Advisor Job Type: Full-time, office based Location: Head Office, Birmingham Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 Day to day of the role: Maintain all HR systems, ensuring data and records are accurate and up to date. Generate reports and create Excel spreadsheets with advanced functions. Develop job descriptions, person specifications, and prepare job adverts. Manage the recruitment process, including shortlisting, interviewing, and selecting candidates. Issue offer letters and employee contracts. Manage induction and onboarding processes. Support and lead formal meetings, such as disciplinary and grievance procedures. Advise employees and Line Managers on HR-related queries and chair ER meetings. Liaise with Payroll regarding employee information, such as absences. Required Skills & Qualifications: Previous experience within an HR environment. Familiarity with the full recruitment and selection cycle. Advanced Excel skills, including Macros, complex formulas, V-Look Ups, and data consolidation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation. Benefits: 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing after 2 years of service.
