The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading manufacturer whose focus is on safety, customer satisfaction and quality in everything they do. Working with the main stakeholder within the business, your job will be to find and develop new business being the first point of contact for them and maximising on sales opportunities.
The Role
Identify and actively pursue new business opportunities
Reach out to potential customers through phone, email, Linked In, and other channels to assess their requirements
Conduct market research to inform business strategies
Analyse current business performance and quotation success rates to strategically target specific customers, sectors, and product types, with guidance provided
Maintain a detailed record/database of customer interactions, using defined software or templates.
Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including external clients
Handle minor customer complaints, collaborating with the Quality Manager and Senior Leadership Team to ensure customer feedback is properly documented and addressed
Collaborate with the Product and Business Development Manager to track the status of inbound sales inquiries, outbound sales efforts, special projects, and post-delivery learning's
Work with the commercial team and the Managing Director to develop quarterly and annual growth plans, including scheduling meetings, setting agendas, taking notes, and creating and tracking action items
