Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional administrative support in a fast-paced medical environment. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice and delivering a positive experience for all patients.
Responsibilities
1. Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
2. Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations efficiently.
3. Answer incoming calls, addressing inquiries or directing them to the appropriate staff member.
4. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
5. Coordinate with medical staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
6. Assist in maintaining a clean and organised reception area.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience in an administrative or office role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
2. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
4. Proficient in using office software and medical management systems.
5. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a calm demeanour under pressure.
6. A compassionate approach towards patients, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times.
7. Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous but not essential.

Pay: £23,880.00-£25,000.00 per year
