Job Purpose: I am looking for a Personal Assistant to support me for a few hours each week in the school holidays. I enjoy playing outside and being able to run and jump. I also like playing with sensory activities. I would like you to take me out to explore the community and to leisure activities.
I have a diagnosis of Autism, learning disabilities and associated communication difficulties. In school I use PECS cards for communication. I will need support to keep me safe and to learn about dangers and risks. I will also need help with personal care.

Summary Terms and Conditions
- The rate of pay for this position is £12.50 per hour.
- Hours and times of work as follows: 4 hours per week, school holidays only (days and times to be discussed at interview).
- The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
- Access to free Care Skills training for employer workers.
- If this job requires; Manual Handling, Handling of hazardous chemicals and/or Food Handling you will be required undertake annual training.
- You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role.
The post is subject to the following:
- A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
- Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
- Completion of a satisfactory probation period of 6 months.
