We are looking for an experienced and innovative pharmacist to join our team and head up the pharmacy service to our Offender Healthcare Care Group. You will be joining a friendly and developmentally-orientated pharmacy leadership team and support the Head of Pharmacy, Forensic Services to optimise the use of medicines across the wider division, as well as the Offender Healthcare Care Group.
A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.
This post will be based at Duncan Macmillan House and be responsible for delivering a Pharmacy and Medicines service to the patients served by the Offender Health Care Group.
Currently the Care Group includes 7 locations in Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Leicestershire. You will be supported by three Area Pharmacists and Lead Technicians in each site. All medicines supply activity is provided by an external contractor so the focus is on the value of the clinical, operational, governance and medicines optimisation activity that we can provide.
You will work side by side with the previous postholder, the Pharmacy Leadership Team and Care Group Management Team. This is a great opportunity to take your management and leadership skills to the next level in an area of Pharmacy which is growing.
