JOB TITLE: Mobile Electrical Engineer LOCATION: Kent CONTRACT: Perm anent Full Time SAL ARY: £34,000 to £38,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Additional Benefits: Paid travel time up to £6,000 per annum, bringing the total potential basic remuneration to £40,000 to £44,000 per annum. Flexible Benefits – Call out 1 in 5 NG Bailey are currently seeking an experienced Mobile Electrical Engineer to undertake Electrical maintenance / installation work efficiently and in accordance with the National working rules for the Electrical Contracting Industry, the current IET wiring regulations for the requirements of Electrical Installations and the Construction Industry safety regulations. The Mobile Electrical Engineer will be working on our contract providing Mechanical, Electrical and building fabric maintenance for South Eastern Railway to their network of train stations. The Mobile Electrical Engineer will provide electrical maintenance to stations within the London / Metro / South East London area into Kent with occasional support across Sussex and coastal Kent. The ideal location of the successful candidate will be the Bexley / Dartford area. The successful candidate will require a UK Driving License as a company van is provided. You will also be required to pass a medical and course to obtain a PTS (Personal Track Safety) sentinel card to be able to work near the tracks if you don't already have one. This is a condition of employment. Working hours are 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday with a call-out rota of 1 in 5 weeks. There is also opportunity to earn overtime with additional quoted works approved from station visits being designated to the engineers that quote the works. What We’re Looking For An experienced Electrical Engineer working to a high standard of building services provision (planned and reactive) within a commercial occupied environment and with the utmost regard for customer service. You Will Have Practical experience carrying out PPM's and undertaking routine Electrical Repairs and Maintenance in line with SFG20 or equivalent with basic fault finding diagnostic experience. Completed a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship (Preferred not Essential) City and Guilds 236 Parts 1&2 OR equivalent City and Guilds 2382 18th Edition Personal Track Safety - PTS (Desirable) IOSH Working / Managing Safely (Desirable) Safe system of Work Procedure – PTW; RAMS etc (Desirable) L8 Training (Desirable) To ensure we’re keeping everyone safe on our railways, an English Comprehension Assessment will form part of the interview process.
