We are looking for a compassionate and committed Nursing Associate to join our team on the Emrgency Assessment Unit at Colchester Hospital.

For this role you will be keen to develop and deliver excellent clinical care. You must be motivated to drive forward and improve the services for the population of Ipswich and surrounding area. In turn, we are keen to give you the opportunity to develop your skills whilst supporting you in your career development.
In this role, you will work alongside Registered Nurses in undertaking nursing assessments and an agreed range of clinical activities. You will work as a member of the ward team, establishing effective communication across the multi-disciplinary team to ensure high quality care for our patients, families and carers. For this role you will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to remain professional under pressure.
A few duties include (but not exclusive to): performing venepuncture, cannulation, ECGs, female catheterisation; taking MRSA swabs; clinical observations; completing admission paperwork and escorting patients to other departments and wards.
