Tasks
* Active participation in the development of our Redox Flow battery
* Assembly, commissioning and maintenance/servicing of our Redox Flow battery prototypes (in-house & customer sites)
* Independent assembly of battery components and test rigs
* Troubleshooting of experimental setups
* Carrying out and documenting test procedures and actively participating in the further development of these procedures
* Close collaboration with the development team and the design department on implementation of new designs and battery systems.
Requirements
* Have 10+ years’ experience of development work in an R&D background.
* Be able to interpret mechanical drawings and models.
* Be able to work under pressure and strict deadlines.
* Be able to multitask.
* (Electrical) technical training with sufficient professional experience in the field of plant construction, switch cabinet construction, maintenance/service
* Willingness to undergo further training in various application areas
* Knowledge of working with programmable logic controllers, microcontrollers, pneumatics/electropneumatics
* Ability to produce models/drawings in CAD.
* Previous experience of working with chemicals.
* Be able to carry out basic machining operations such as drilling & tapping, sheet metal cutting (bandsaw) and modify system components in-house.
* Confident handling of PC, Windows and MS Office
* Strong ability to work in a team and a high degree of initiative and independence
* Knowledge of international standards and norms for batteries and energy storage systems (e.g. B. ISO, IEC) is an advantage
