Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant (Secondary)
Location: Quidenham, Norwich
Salary: £21,709.61 - £22,388.59 (depending on experience)
Hourly Rate: £12.15 - £12.53 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, term-time only
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm (5:00 pm finish on Thursdays, with time adjusted on another day) ...

We are currently seeking committed Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team in supporting secondary school students with special educational needs. In this role, you will work closely with teachers and therapists to foster a positive learning environment, helping students achieve both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Build warm, supportive relationships with students to help them feel secure and engaged in their learning.
2. Encourage independence and personal growth, maintaining high standards of behaviour.
3. Assist in delivering a broad, balanced curriculum by supporting the planning and delivery of differentiated learning activities.
4. Support the class teacher with day-to-day classroom duties and adapt to the changing needs of the school.
5. Promote students' cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
6. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to meet students' needs.
Requirements:
7. GCSEs in Maths and English (minimum Grade 4 or equivalent).
8. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or working towards it).
9. Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
10. Experience working with students with SEMH and ASD.
11. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential due to the location).
